Definitions

  • User / Customer: Any individual who registers with Voota or places an order for meals through our platform.
  • Meal(s): Fresh, home-cooked vegetarian food prepared and delivered by Voota, including but not limited to daily meals, subscription meals, or advance orders.
  • Daily Order: A meal order placed for same-day delivery.
  • Advance Order: A meal order placed one or more days prior to the scheduled delivery date.

Cancellation Policy
1. Daily Meal Orders

  • Once a daily meal order is confirmed or accepted by Voota, it cannot be cancelled and is non-refundable.
  • A customer may cancel a daily order only if the order is not confirmed within 30 minutes of placing it.
  • In such cases, the full order amount (including delivery charges) will be refunded to the original payment method or wallet.
  • If neither confirmation nor cancellation occurs within approximately 2 hours, the order will automatically be cancelled and refunded.

2. Advance Meal Orders

  • Advance orders cannot be cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled delivery date.
  • If an advance order is cancelled at least 48 hours before the delivery date, a cancellation charge of 10% of the food value will be deducted.
  • The remaining amount, including delivery charges, will be refunded.
  • If an advance order is not confirmed within approximately 2 hours, it may be automatically cancelled and refunded.

Refund Policy

  • Refunds are processed only in accordance with this policy.
  • Eligible refunds will be credited to the customer’s original payment method or wallet, as applicable.
  • Refund processing time may vary depending on payment provider and bank policies.

Order Cancellation by Voota

Voota reserves the right to cancel an order under the following circumstances:

  • Unavailability of meals or ingredients
  • Operational or logistical issues
  • Incorrect or incomplete delivery address
  • Location falling outside the serviceable delivery area
  • Inability to contact the customer at the time of delivery

In such cases, customers will be notified, and a full refund will be issued with no penalty.

No Penalty Cancellations

No cancellation penalty will be charged if an order is cancelled due to reasons attributable to:

  • Voota
  • Delivery partners
  • Operational or technical failures

Important Notes

  • Once food preparation has started, cancellation or refund requests will not be accepted.
  • Voota reserves the right to amend this policy at any time without prior notice.
  • Continued use of the website and services implies acceptance of this policy.
